Renewable Energy

Cut Heating Costs and Reduce your Carbon Footprint with Renewable Energy

In the UK, many homes and business premises use electric heating and oil heating solutions. These systems rely on the burning of fossil fuels for energy, and so are damaging to the environment as well as increasingly expensive to run. With the cost of fossil fuels set to continue rising, it is clear that we all need alternative, cheap heating solutions that use renewable energy. Thankfully, this technology is available right now, and costs less than you think.

At Hamilton Air Conditioning and Heating, we have a range of air source heat pumps that can:

Reduce the cost of your heating bills. We can supply and install Daikin Altherma heat pumps, which are designed to heat your property using renewable energy. Highly efficient, easy to install, and suitable for home, business and community heating solutions, the Altherma heat pumps are a great way to reduce your costs. There really are financial benefits for 'going green'.

Reduce your carbon footprint. With our air source heat pumps, you will use less energy to heat your property. This means you can benefit from lower heating costs and also play your part in protecting natural resources.

Continue using your existing heating system. Our air source heat pumps connect to your existing central heating, so there is very little disruption to your home or business.

You can find out more about how heat pumps work and the benefits they offer on our Heat Pumps page. For details about the Daikin Altherma air source heat pump and our other air to air heat pumps and air to water heat pumps, select Heat Pump Products.

As part of our renewable energy service, we will assess your property and recommend the most suitable air source heat pump for your requirements. Once you have chosen an air to air heat pump or air to water heat pump, our engineers will install your system and ensure it is running efficiently.

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Scheme – Financial Aid for 'Going Green'

To help you finance your transition from electric heating, coal and oil heating solutions to renewable energy, the government has set up the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme. Due to launch in the summer of 2011, the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme is set to offer long-term support to businesses and financial support for residential properties (through the Renewable Heat Premium Payment).
